Windows XP

• 1). Log on to the computer and right click on the "My Computer" icon. If there is no "My Computer" icon on the desktop, click on the "Start" button, choose "My Computer" from the menu and right click on it.
  
  
• 2). Choose "Explore" from the drop-down list to open Windows Explorer. Click the plus sign next to "My Computer."
  
  
• 3). Right click on the "C" drive and choose "Properties" from the menu. You will see a graphical display showing the size of your hard drive, the total space used and the total space still available.
  
  

Windows Vista

• 1). Click on the "Start" button and choose "Programs" from the menu. Choose "Accessories" from the list.
  
  
• 2). Choose "Windows Explorer" and click on the "Folders" panel. Click on "Computers" from the list.
  
  
• 3). Review the list to see the total amount of hard drive space and total space used for each hard drive on your computer.
