    End Processes

    • 1). Press "Ctrl," "Shift" and "Escape" to open the Task Manager.

    • 2). Click the "Processes" tab of the Task Manager.

    • 3). Right-click "sysguard.exe," located under the Image Name heading, and select "End Process."

    • 4). Close the Task Manager.

    Delete Registry Values

    • 1). Click "Start," type "regedit" into the search field and press "Enter" to open the Registry Editor.

    • 2). Delete the following registry values from the left pane of the Registry Editor. To delete a registry value, right-click the value and select "Delete."

      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Associations "LowRiskFileTypes" = ".exe"

      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Attachments "SaveZoneInformation" = "1"

      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "[random]"

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "[random]"

    • 3). Close the Registry Editor.

    Delete Files

    • 1). Click "Start" and type "sysguard" into the search field.

    • 2). Right-click "sysguard" in the results list and select "Delete."

    • 3). Restart your computer.
