How to Download From Mac to iPod

    • 1). Open iTunes on your Mac. If you don't have it installed you can get it from the Apple website for free.

    • 2). Connect the iPod USB cable to the iPod and then connect it to the Mac.

    • 3). Click "Sync" if the files you want to get from the Mac to the iPod are already set up to download to the iPod. If not, you will need to manually download the files.

    • 4). Select your iPod under "Devices" on the left panel of the iTunes screen. Click on the "Summary" tab in the main screen and enable the "Manually manage music and videos" option. Click "Apply."

    • 5). Drag and drop the items from your Mac to your iPod on the left panel of the iTunes screen. Be sure to drop the items in the appropriate folders, such as Music or Movies. When the files have transferred, a message will appear saying that the sync is complete.
