- 1). Click "Start," and click "All Programs." Click the "Accessories" folder and right-click "Command Prompt."
- 2). Click "Run as administrator." Click "Yes" on the "User Account Control" dialog. This opens the Windows Command Prompt with administrative permissions.
- 3). Type "Netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt" and press the "Enter" key. This sets all the TCP\IP settings back to the state they were in when you first installed your operating system.
- 4). Close the Command Prompt and restart your computer to allow changes to take effect.
