How to Add Music & Video to PowerPoint

    • 1). Launch Microsoft PowerPoint.

    • 2). Create your presentation or open an existing presentation ("File," then "Open..."). Navigate to the slide to which you want to add the media.

    • 3). Select the "Insert" tab. Select "Media Clips." From the "Media Clips" menu, select "Sound" to add music or "Movie" to add a video.

    • 4). Select "Sound/Movie from File" or select "Sound/Movie from Clip Organizer." If you select "...from File," a file browser will open, allowing you to select the music or video file from your hard drive to insert in the PowerPoint presentation. If you select "...from Clip Organizer," you can select an audio or video file from the Clip Art selection. Select the desired file and click "Open/Insert." The media file is added to the presentation.
