How to Determine Image Resolution

    • 1). Click "Start"; it will open the "Start" menu in the left corner of the screen.

    • 2). Click "Computer" in the "Start" menu to open Windows Explorer.

    • 3). Browse your computer using Windows Explorer to the folder that contains an image file.

    • 4). Right-click on the image file; then select "Properties."

    • 5). Click on the tab "Details" in the image properties window.

    • 6). Read the image resolution in dots per inch (DPI), for example, 180 DPI.
